Instagram Bots: Is it worth using them or not?

Without a doubt, Instagram is one of the most widely used online marketing platforms in the world today - and for good reason.

What was once a photo-sharing platform has now evolved into something more, with features that help companies promote their products and sell more than a billion monthly users.

This platform also uses different tools with the same goal. One of them is Instagram bots, an attempt to automate likes and comments so you could skip the traditional method of increasing your audience, which is now much more difficult than before.

But the question is: Is it really a worthwhile step?

What you need to know about Instagram bots

Automation has been a trend in recent years and Instagram is no exception with its own Instagram bots. Im this bots are designed to follow accounts and like and comment on posts on your behalf as part of your Instagram campaign.

The idea of not having to do these things yourself is definitely lucrative. Instead of doing all the hard work, you just have to define your audience and die bots do the rest of the work for you, crawling through accounts, following them and trying to interact with them as if they were you. Pretty interesting, right?

But if it sounds too good to be true, that's because it is. Yes, the technique offers some results, in some cases quickly.

However, you can't deny that it's a black hat trick that may not do you any good in the long run.

Why dying using Instagram bots is not an ideal strategy

Getting the best results for ANY campaign takes a lot of hard work. If you want a consistent, put together and successful presence on Instagram, automation may not be the best way because:

  • You can't promise real commitment. There's a reason robots can never replace humans - this human connection. It doesn't take a genius to see that some of your comments aren't coming from a real person, and that this affects not only your engagement rate, but your brand as a whole.
  • They can easily destroy relationships. Brand loyalty starts with engagement, and you work hard to achieve it. However, if you let bots die do the work for you, there's a higher risk of getting into awkward situations, as these bots respond to posts that mainly depend on hashtags.

You can't destroy relationships you've built or lose the opportunity to start new ones with potential customers.

Finally, dying can use bots easily violate Instagram's terms of service, which would also penalize your account.

Instead of taking the easy way out, it's more important to find alternatives to using Instagram bots, such as hiring a social media manager or planning your strategies using a social media management platform.

They may require more work for you, but dying results will definitely be worth it, since they are real and long-lasting, as if you only use bots to do dying work.
