LinkedIn 2025: How to become truly visible

LinkedIn has long been more than just a digital cover letter. It is a showcase, stage and place of exchange for everyone who has something to say - or simply wants to be seen better. But if you scroll, you see a lot. But not everything. So what determines whether a post is effective?

Visual wins - but clever, please

Posts with images, PDFs or carousels generate significantly more reactions than pure text. In particular, content that invites you to "swipe through" holds attention for longer - and is commented on more often.

👉 A little trick: Don't link directly to external pages in the post. Content that stays on the platform tends to be favored. The link? It belongs in the comments.

People follow people, not logos

Nobody wants slick PR texts. What really goes down well are honest insights - regardless of whether things went well or went completely wrong. Show attitude. Show learning curves. Show what you really think. That will stick.

"Today I drove my presentation into the wall - and learned three things from it."

Often that's all it takes. Authenticity trumps any glossy strategy.

The algorithm wants real conversations

It is not enough to simply be present. The platform rewards content that:

  • Initiate discussions
  • Offer added value, not just opinion
  • Clear, but not overloaded (3 hashtags are enough)
  • Get reactions early - especially comments

So when you post something, ask yourself: Would I want to comment on it?

Use time slots - but not slavishly

There is a lot going on between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays in particular. The strongest interaction is often on Tuesday or Thursday mornings. But every target group is different. Test when your community is really attentive - and stay flexible.

Regularity beats volume

Better good content three times a week than seven posts that don't touch anyone. Continuity is important - but only if the content is right. Use planning tools, editorial calendars or even simple reminders to stay on track.

You don't need new ideas all the time

Your email newsletter, a conversation in the team, a customer question - all of these can be a powerful LinkedIn post. The art is not in rethinking, but in clever recycling. And: You can revisit topics several times. Many people missed it the first time anyway.

Play with what is there

Use different formats - PDF carousels, texts, short videos, surveys or even audio. Not everything has to be perfect. The important thing is that it suits you. And it gets things rolling.

Conclusion: Show attitude, write genuinely - and keep at it

Visibility doesn't happen overnight. But with a little honesty, a sense of timing and a desire to share genuine thoughts, anyone can make an impact on LinkedIn.

And hey - once you get going, it's even fun.

Discover, create, plan and analyze - Everything in one place!
