📋 Requirements: What you need
- One RSS feed URL (e.g. from your blog or CMS)
- One DotSimple Account with access token & workspace ID
- One Make.com account
🗂️ Step 1: Create scenario in Make.com

Create new scenario:
Log in to make.com and click on "Create a new Scenario". -
Module 1 - RSS:
Module: Watch RSS Feed Items
→ Enter your feed URL (e.g.https://rss.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/Europe.xml
)
→ Select "From now on" or test with a previous post

Module 2 - HTTP: Get a file
→ Select the appropriate image field from the RSS feed (e.g. media:content url or rawContentUrl)

→ If your DotSimple account is not yet connected:- In the DotSimple app, go to Settings → Access token
- Click on "Create new token" (e.g. "Make RSS Now")
- Select "never expires" and copy the token
- The Workspace ID can be found in the URL after
/app/
(e.g.app.dotsimple.io/app/abc123
)
→ Select the output of the previous HTTP step as the file in the module
🚀 Step 4: Publish the post immediately

→ Set the following fields:- Schedule Now:
Yes
- IsOriginal:
Yes
- Body: z.e.g. the description or the title from the RSS feed
- Media: File ID from the previous upload module
- Platform: z.e.g. LinkedIn page or Instagram
❌ Important: Leave the fields Schedule and Queue empty - the immediate publication runs exclusively via Schedule Now = Yes.
- Schedule Now:

From now on, every new RSS article will be automatically created in DotSimple and published on the desired social media channel without delay - including image, text and link.
