▶️ Tip: The video visually guides you through both variants - including setup, image upload and planned publication.
📋 Requirements: What you need
- The RSS feed URLs your various sources
- One DotSimple account with access token and workspace ID
- One Make.com account
🔁 Important note about Make.com
Unlike Zapier, Make does not currently allow you to combine multiple RSS feeds in one module. You must create a separate scenario for each RSS feedwhich works independently and automatically transfers posts from exactly this feed to the DotSimple queue.
📌 Example: How to create a scenario for a feed
-
Start scenario:
Click on "Create a new scenario" in Make. -
Module 1 - RSS: Watch RSS Feed Items
→ Enter the desired feed URL (e.g.https://news.deinblog.at/rss
) -
Module 2 - HTTP: Get a File
→ Load the image from the post (e.g. via the media:content or rawImageUrl) -
Module 3 - DotSimple: Upload File
→ Use the output from the HTTP module
→ If you have not yet connected DotSimple:- In DotSimple, go to Settings → Access token
- Create a new token (e.g. "Make Feed A Queue")
- Copy your Workspace ID (is in the URL after
/app/
)
-
Module 4 - DotSimple: Create Post
→ Set fields as follows:- Cue:
Yes
- IsOriginal:
Yes
- Body: Title or description from the feed
- Media: File ID from the upload module
- Platform: z.e.g. Instagram or LinkedIn page
❌ Note: The fields Schedule and Schedule Now leave empty - only the field Queue = Yes ensures that the contribution is added to the queue.
- Cue:
🔁 How to add more feeds
To automate additional RSS sources, copy your first scenario and adapt only the first module (RSS feed) the rest should remain the same, the variables of the RSS feed may have to be reselected. This way you can automate as many sources as you like without having to rebuild everything.
✅ Result: Each feed automatically delivers content to the queue
Posts from all your defined feeds are automatically added to your DotSimple queue. Posts are published reliably according to your selected posting frequency (e.g. Tuesday & Thursday, 10 am).
💡 Bonus tips for power users
- Use scenario filters to only post certain categories or keywords
- Automatically add a link to the original source at the end of the text
- Use different platform assignments depending on the feed (e.g. tech feed → LinkedIn, recipes → Instagram)
🧠 Conclusion: Fully automated multi-feed posting
With Make.com and DotSimple allows you to automate multiple content sources in a structured way. The queue function gives you clear control over the time of publication - no matter how many feeds you maintain.
