Click-through rate (CTR)

Click-through rate, abbreviated CTR, is a measure of how many people who view a social post, ad, or other content click through to read more, buy, or take some other action. This is a useful metric because it measures how effective your social content is at driving people to your own web properties. The formula for calculating CTR is the number of clicks divided by the total number of impressions. The CTR is usually expressed as a percentage.
